Thunder Road - a letterpress project by The Unbearable Banishment

I came across this interesting chapbook project by Mark on Art Book Object. The chapbook marries an essay "Thunder Road" by Nick Hornby from his book 31 Songs to a broadsheet with the lycric to the Bruce Springsteen song that inspire the essay.

The project was a labour of love spanning more that 5 years, Mark tells the whole story of the project on his blog: The Unbearable Banishment.

All proceeds go to the school for children with autism: TreeHouse.

The chapbook pages and broadsheet where printed by Synaesthesia Press with the covers printed by Lead Graffiti who have some nice things in their store including these great cards made out of re-cycled food packaging.
